The Agbogbloshie scrap metal site in Accra is the largest center for electronic waste recycling and disposal in Ghana. The tour will include a knowledgeable guide who will be available to answer any questions you may have and will provide a unique and educational experience as you visit one location after another within the area.
This community is home to one of Africa’s largest e-waste dumping sites, and the tour provides an opportunity to witness firsthand the innovative work of young people who recycle e-waste into useful products. The tour offers a comprehensive understanding of e-waste recycling through a combination of driving and walking tours. You will be picked up directly from your accommodation and driven through the vibrant and colorful Makola open market to Agbogbloshie, providing valuable insights into waste management and sustainability.
